We got to attend the Cason Dinner at the NorthRiver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa on Thursday night. The University of Alabama gives the Clarence Cason Award to an Alabama author of nonfiction writing each year. This year the award went to Frye Gaillard. Erin and Mrs. Dennis were invited because Erin was recognized as the Alabama Scholastic Press Association's Journalist of the Year. I LOVE the picture I took of the two of them using my prime lens. They are both beautiful!
